THE COMEBACK

Campaign terms

What you are buying

You are purchasing Founding Credit: prepaid credit toward food and merchandise at the first location of a new restaurant company. Every $1 of Founding Credit is $1 of credit to spend when we open, plus 1 point for the city you select.

Founding Credit is not a donation, investment, security, equity, ownership interest, or loan. It carries no ownership, no profit share, and no voting rights in the company.

The city competition

Points are awarded only for successfully processed purchases. Refunded, canceled, failed, or disputed payments do not count and are removed from the totals.

The city with the most points when the campaign closes is where we intend to open the first location. Site selection also depends on available real estate, permitting, and lease terms.

The $20,000 founder commitment

If community purchases reach $20,000 in Founding Credit during the campaign, the founder commits an additional $20,000 toward launching the first location. Founder funds are separate from customer purchases and are never counted in the community progress bar or in any city total.

The combined $40,000 is committed toward launching the first location. It is not represented as the complete cost of opening a restaurant.

If the campaign does not reach $20,000

If we don’t reach $20,000, we take the money on the road: a 4-city Texas pop-up tour.

Every dollar goes into 2–5 day pop-ups in four Texas cities — Austin, San Antonio, Houston, and Dallas. Your Founding Credit is redeemable at any of them, and the city that shows up hardest still gets the first permanent location. Nobody loses their money, and nobody waits on a build-out.

Pop-up dates, venues, and menus are announced by email to the address used at checkout. If a pop-up in your selected city cannot be held, your Founding Credit remains redeemable at any other pop-up on the tour or at the first permanent location.

Redemption

If we reach the goal, Founding Credit becomes redeemable when the first location opens, at that location, against food and merchandise. If we do not, it becomes redeemable at the Texas pop-up tour. Redemption details are emailed to the address used at checkout.

Founding Credit has no cash value, is not transferable for cash, and cannot be exchanged for currency.

Privacy

The public feed shows a first name only, and only when the buyer chooses to show it. Last names, email addresses, phone numbers, addresses, and payment details are never published.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store full card details.

The new company

This campaign is run by a new company launching a new brand. It is not a reopening of, and is not affiliated with, any former restaurant company or its brands. Any prior company referenced is a separate legal entity.
